What previous participants have said about the course:

"I attended the WSET Level 1 course at Winecdote Netil House wine studio on Saturday 11/5/19 and had a great time and experience.

This was my first wine course and qualification and i embarked on this journey not knowing a great deal about wines and their regions and tastes but wanting to learn more so i could enjoy what i was drinking and choosing. This felt very informal and the sudio is a cool and stylish venue to learn about wine and the day went very quickly as it was relaxed and enjoyable but very informative and the right level of technical for the crowd.

Claudia is a great tutor and host and she immediately made the small group of five feel relaxed and at ease and we got to know each other as we went through the basics of styles, types, regions and tastes. I particularly enjoyed the food pairing section and understanding which wines go with which foods and why, something i was looking to improve my understanding of during the day.

We finished off the course and took the examinations at the end, which i felt well prepared for as the course covered all the questions of the exam. Afterwards we went out an explored the local Hackney area of Broadway Market and London Fields and got a great chance to put our experience into practise - which is after all why we decided to take the WSET course !

thanks Winecdote, it was a great day and course and i look forward to getting the results and booking my WSET level 2 course in August !"

"The course was extremely interesting overall, from the winemaking process to the wine and food pairing. The tutor was great and explained everything very clearly and the course was very entertaining. I really liked that Claudia was giving us some tricks for us to recognize the grape varieties. Will definitely book the level 2."
